Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War‘s first Beta Weekend is set to kick off this week on PlayStation 4, and we now know what modes will be available.
Activision, Treyarch, and Raven Software have revealed that the beta will consist of Team Deathmatch, Domination, VIP Escort, Kill Confirmed, and Combined Arms. The combination is mostly similar to what we saw in the Alpha Weekend that took place a few weeks ago.
In case you’re missed the details, players that pre-ordered on PlayStation 4 will get the first crack at the beta, opening on October 8. It will then be available to all PS4 players from October 10 to October 12. The second Beta Weekend opens the game up to other platforms, with players that pre-ordered on Xbox One or PC getting access on October 15. Everyone else gets to join in on the fun from October 17 to October 19.
Bit confusing? Check out the handy image below. It’s worth noting that the second Beta Weekend will have crossplay enabled, meaning we’ll be able to play with others across the different platforms.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will launch on November 13 for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Read our multiplayer impressions here.
