Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Release Date Confirmed

Earlier today, Activision confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War would release on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on November 13, with the title to also launch on Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 once they’re available.

The announcement ties in with a recent file leak that revealed the release date, suggesting that the leaked multiplayer reveal date might also be true.

Alongside the announcement was a brand new trailer and a fresh-set of information. Firstly, the game is indeed a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops, set within the 1980s with multiple characters playing a significant role once again.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War content will also be built into Call of Duty: Warzone. The game will receive an update with this new content, however content from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will still be available to players.

The game’s proper multiplayer and zombie modes will be revealed and detailed at a later date. Although according to the leaks mentioned earlier, the multiplayer could be revealed on September 9.
