If you thought Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time couldn’t get any more content, you’d be wrong. Today, Activision and Toys for Bob revealed a new cutscene and gameplay segment which revealed an alternate dimension version of Tawna.
It’s a significant redesign for the character, who looks much more badass than her appearance in Crash Bandicoot and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. As a playable character, she has a grappling hook at her disposal that she can use to break boxes that are out of reach. She’s also the only character that can wall jump.
Tawna rounds out the list of playable characters in the game, with Crash, Coco and Cortex being announced alongside the game’s initial reveal a few months back, with Dingodile being revealed soon after.
Activision also revealed that there would be a demo of the game, which will be available on September 17 to those that pre-order the digital edition of the game. Players will be able to play two levels, which are likely the two that were available to media a few months back.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be available on Xbox One and Playstation 4 on October 2. Before release, make sure you check out our preview of the game.
