Crysis Remastered Launches on PS4, Xbox One in September

Crytek’s Crysis Remastered, developed in partnership with Saber Interactive will launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC next month, it has been confirmed.

Initially set to launch on July 24, but a critical fan response saw only the Nintendo Switch release go ahead, with the other ports being delayed.

Saber Interactive and Crytek shared the new release alongside a brand-new trailer that highlighted the new technical features that the remastered edition would come with. For example, it will now feature 8K textured, updated lighting effects, and ray-traced reflections.

Unfortunately, Steam users will have to wait as Crysis Remastered will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for the time being.

What do you think of the trailer? Has the delay helped the game at all? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Crysis Remastered will release on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC (via the Epic Games Store) on September 18. It is currently available on Nintendo Switch.
