Ahead of its release next month, Cyberpunk 2077 has gone gold and is ready to be prepped for a retail release.
The response to the news has been mixed, at least according to the replies on Twitter. CD Projekt Red has received criticism recently after an employee email came to light and revealed the developer had enforced a mandatory six-day working week on its employees.
The news is a direct contrast to comments made by CD Projekt Red co-founder in an interview with Kotaku, where he said that the studio will still have a “non-obligatory crunch policy,” but it won’t be “mandatory.”
Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on November 19 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Versions for the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 will launch sometime next year.
