Playstation’s latest State of Play stream took place earlier, where they shared updates on upcoming PS4, PS5, and PS VR games. Missed out on the event? Here’s everything they showed.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time
Toys for Bob revealed a bunch on info for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, with Dingodile confirmed as a playable character, new unlockable outfits, and they reiterated that the game won’t feature any microtransactions. There’s also the new N. Verted Mode – where all the game’s levels are repayable with new art styles, game feel, and challenges.
When Hitman 3 launches in January next year, it’ll come with support for PS VR. The team at IO Interactive revealed they were bringing VR support to every location from all three games.
Aeon Must Die
One of the more unique titles to be shown at last month’s Playstation Reveal Event, Bugsnax had its gameplay unveiling here. The first-person title looks to feature a lot of exploration, with the trailer showing the player observing and research multiple little critters in the game.
Remedy Entertainment showed off a new trailer for the Alan Wake-themed Control DLC, entitled ‘AWE’. It will release on August 27.
Braid Anniversary Edition
The smash indie hit makes a return, with Braid Anniversary Edition announced for the Playstation 4 and Playstation 5. It will release in early 2021.
Spelunky 2 made an appearance with a lengthy trailer detailing the game. Showing off multiple features, the trailer also revealed that the game will launch on September 15.
Star Wars: Vader Immortal
Temtem, the Pokémon-like MMO, was revealed as an upcoming title for the Playstation 5. The game will launch in 2021.
Hood Outlaw & Legends
Playstation’s State of Play gave us a deeper look into Godfall, with a nine-minute gameplay demo being a key feature in the showing. Developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox, Godfall will be available exclusively for Playstation 5 at launch.
