After an unintentional online store listing mentioned Halo Infinite’s multiplayer component would be free-to-play, 343 Industries has confirmed that it is the case in a recent post on the official Halo Twitter account.
Halo Infinite‘s multilayer will also support 120FPS on Xbox Series X. Its campaign portion will still run at 60FPS however.

The news comes after 343 Industries responded to criticism around the game’s visuals, while also addressing and highlighting a number of the games features in their most recent community update. One important thing to note, which the team highlighted once again, is that the game will not feature microtransactions.
Halo Infinite will be available this holiday for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Stay tuned for more updates on the game.
