343 Industries has announced that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be coming to Xbox Series X/S with multiple optimisations.
Available on November 17, one week after the launch of the consoles, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will feature 120 FPS across the campaign and multiplayer, while also offering up to 4K resolution (Series X only) and improvements to split-screen play.
When the new consoles launch, you’ll be able to play the game through Backwards Compatibility, which we expect will also offer some improvements like reduced times for example. The title will soon offer cross-play, and it looks like 343 Industries have begun to lay the groundwork in the latest update.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be available on Xbox Series X/S on November 17. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive instant access to the game at launch.
