Following a tease earlier in the week, Netherrealm Studios has announced Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Edition for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, with a free upgrade for those that own the current-gen version of the game.
The next-gen version of the game will feature a 4k dynamic resolution, reduced load times and improved visuals. Cross-play and cross-gen progression will also be incorporated. For those of you that own the other editions of the game, such as the initial launch copy, you’ll also be able to upgrade to a next-gen version for free.
Additionally, we also got our first look at the next set of kharacters coming to the game. Rain and Mileena, two of the most requested kharacters will be added, as well as John Rambo who is voiced by Sylvester Stallone.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Edition and Kombat Pack 2 will be available on November 17.
