Netherrealm Studios and WB Games have a lot to celebrate today, with Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon revealing the much-loved Mortal Kombat 11 has sold over 8 million copies since its initial release.
In the tweet above, Boon teases additional information that’s set to come sometime this week. Many fans are anticipating that this will be additional fighters being added to the already stacked fighter.
Most recently, Mortal Kombat 11 saw the release of the Aftermath update which added a brand-new story set after the events of the original game, as well as three new fighters in the form of Sheeva, Fujin and Robocop.
